OXU3100
USB SuperSpeed 3.0 to SATA Controller
The OXU3100 is the latest in external storage controllers. Bridging between USB 3.0 interfaces to a single hard disk drive, the OXU3100 supports a number of power saving modes, making it suitable for use in bus-powered applications. The OXU3100 integrates a USB3.0 device, which is backward compatible with USB 2.0, and a SATA II host controller and enables designers to create products with a minimal number of external components and a low cost BOM.
The OXU3100 is provided with robust application firmware, thereby shortening development cycles, and PLX offers a comprehensive support package including evaluation boards, reference designs and software development kit.
